Genesis 37a. <br/>Jacob gives Joseph a special robe. Joseph dreams that his family will bow to him. – Slide 1
Genesis 37b. <br/>Jacob is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. – Slide 2
Genesis 38. <br/>Judah is tricked into making his daughter-in-law, Tamar pregnant. – Slide 3
Genesis 39. <br/>Joseph is sold as a slave and works for Potiphar. <br/>Joseph refuses the advances of Potiphar’s wife and is put in prison. – Slide 4

Genesis 44. <br/>On the return journey a silver cup is found in Benjamin’s sack, and they are arrested and returned to Joseph. – Slide 9
Genesis 45. <br/>Joseph reveals who he is to his brothers. They return to tell Jacob that Joseph is alive. – Slide 10
Genesis 46. <br/>Jacob travels to Egypt to be reunited with Joseph. – Slide 11
Genesis 47. <br/>Jacob settles in Goshen in Egypt. Joseph manages the famine in Egypt. – Slide 12
Genesis 48. <br/>Jacob blesses Joseph’s sons, Manasseh and Ephraim. – Slide 13
Genesis 49. <br/>Jacob blesses his own sons and then dies. – Slide 14
Genesis 50. <br/>Jacob is taken back to Canaan to be buried. <br/>Joseph and his brothers return to Egypt. Later Joseph dies and is put in a coffin. His brothers promise him before he dies, that one day, his bones will be taken back to the Promised Land. – Slide 15
