Jesus was staying in the town of Capernaum on the north-west shore of the Sea of Galilee. – Slide 1

The leader of the local synagogue was a man called Jairus. It was his job to plan the service and he had invited Jesus to read the Scriptures and explain them. – Slide 4

The demon threw the man violently down on the floor before them all. – Slide 12
