When it was noon, darkness came over the whole land until 3 o’clock. – Slide 1

Around 3 o’clock Jesus cried out with a loud voice, ‘Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?’ which means, ‘My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?’ – Slide 2

When some of the bystanders heard it, they said, ‘Listen, He is calling for Elijah.’ – Slide 3

Then Jesus, calling out in a loud voice, said, ‘Into your hands I commit my Spirit.’ – Slide 4

Just then, the temple curtain was torn in two from top to bottom. – Slide 6

The earth shook and the rocks were split apart. The tombs were opened and the bodies of many saints who had died were raised. – Slide 7

They came out of the tombs after His resurrection and went into the city and appeared to many people. – Slide 8

Now when the Centurion who stood in front of Him saw how He died, he said, ‘Truly, this man was God’s Son.’ – Slide 9
