The woman with a bent over back

Jesus heals a woman in need.

This is a story found in the Bible in the gospel of Luke. – Slide 1

As Jesus was leaving the Temple where He had been teaching, He saw a poor lady all bent over. – Slide 2

The lady could not stand up. Her back was sore and she always walked bent right over. – Slide 3

Jesus felt sorry for the poor lady. She had been like this for a long, long time. Only Jesus could make her better. – Slide 4

Jesus bent right down, so she could see Him. He took her by the hand. ‘I can make you well,’ He said. – Slide 5

Straight away the lady stood up. It was a miracle! Jesus had made her back better! – Slide 6

Everyone was amazed. Doctors could not fix her bent back, but Jesus did! The lady was so happy. – Slide 7

Everywhere Jesus went people followed Him and saw Him make sick people well. Nothing is too hard for Jesus. – Slide 8
