Peter came to Jesus and asked, ‘Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?’ – Slide 1

There was a servant who worked for the king. But the servant needed a large sum of money. – Slide 3

The King let the servant borrow lots of bags of gold from him and the servant promised he would pay back all the money he owed. – Slide 4

But the servant spent the money and did not have any money to pay back what he owed. His family were scared what the King might do when he found out. – Slide 5

The servant’s children might be sold as slaves to pay back the debt. And they were very frightened what might happen to them. – Slide 6

The King called the servant and asked him to pay back the money he had borrowed. – Slide 7

The king was angry when he heard the servant could not pay the money back. He ordered that the servant’s wife and children be sold as slaves. – Slide 8

The servant fell to his knees. ‘Be patient with me,’ he begged. ‘I will repay everything.’ – Slide 9

The king took pity on him, cancelled the debt and let him go. He was forgiven and his family would be set free. – Slide 10

He grabbed him by the neck and began to choke him. ‘Pay back what you owe me!’ he demanded.’ The man fell to his knees and begged him, ‘Be patient with me and I will pay you back.’ – Slide 12
