In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them. <br/>Genesis 1-2:2 – Slide 1
God created man and woman in His own image. <br/>Genesis 2. – Slide 2
God had forbidden Adam and Eve to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil The serpent tempted Eve to disobey God and she tempted Adam to do the same. <br/>Through this act of disobedience sin and death entered the world. <br/>Genesis 3. – Slide 3
Adam and Eve had two sons Cain and Abel. When God accepted Abel’s offering of the first born of his flock but refused Cain’s offering of produce from the soil, Cain became jealous of his brother and killed him. <br/>Genesis 4. – Slide 4
People became exceedingly wicked and God wanted to destroy them all with a flood. However, Noah and his family still obeyed God. So God told Noah to build a very large boat into which He brought all the living creatures to be saved from destruction. Noah, his family and the animals on board the Ark were the only ones to survive the great flood. <br/>Genesis 6-9. – Slide 5
Noah’s descendants grew in number. At a place called Babel they proudly built a tower to reach up to the heavens. But God brought confusion among the workers by causing them to speak in different languages. The parted and spread around the world. <br/>Genesis 10-11. – Slide 6
